Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 2026

Placeholder — this statement describes our ongoing commitment to accessibility. Before publishing, consider having the site audited against WCAG 2.1 AA (manually and with a tool like axe or WAVE) so any conformance claims here are backed by an actual test, not just intent.

Our Commitment

Brivana Health is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every family looking into care for their child should be able to navigate this site easily, regardless of how they access it.

Standards We Aim For

We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely accepted standard for web accessibility. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more user-friendly for everyone.

Measures We've Taken

  • Semantic HTML and clear heading structure throughout the site to support screen readers and other assistive technology.
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators so the site can be navigated without a mouse.
  • Text and background color combinations chosen with readability and contrast in mind.
  • Labels on form fields so screen readers can announce what information is being requested.
  • Respecting reduced-motion preferences for visitors sensitive to animation.

Known Limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Some areas of the site — including third-party embeds, like the map on our Contact page, and photography — may not yet fully meet our standards. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know using the contact information below so we can address it.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in an alternate format, please contact us at shagun.k@brivanahealth.org or +1 (571) 564-7254. We try to respond to accessibility feedback within a few business days.
